As I See You – Two Diverging Narratives in Film & Performance

13 October, 2015 @ 7:30 pm - 8:30 pm

Free

As part of the 2015-16 ArtSounds, composer Stacy Busch, spoken word artist Sarah Beth Mundy, and multimedia artist Cody Kauhl present:

“As I See You”, a concert split in two halves, tells the same story from two different perspectives, communicated through silent video, live performers, and spoken word. Although the two iterations of the story might recount the same events, each will be conveyed by the spoken word artist from vastly different perspectives and ending with separate conclusions and assessments of the events that transpire. The narrative shows two good friends as they both recall the slow decline of their relationship, showing that neither party is right nor wrong, and that life is much more complicated than how we describe it.
